Different dogs. Individual personalities. Once carefully considered approach.
WHY DO I NEED TO COMPLETE A QUESTIONNAIRE?
Because every dog—and every household—is different.
The questionnaire helps Jayne understand what is happening, identify the most appropriate service and prepare properly before recommending that you purchase anything.
WHAT IS THE 10-MINUTE FIT CALL?
It is a brief introductory call used when Jayne needs to clarify something in your questionnaire or discuss whether Champagne Paws is the right fit.
It is not a free behaviour consultation, diagnosis or training session.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE INITIAL AND COMPLEX BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS?
The Initial Behaviour Assessment is appropriate for many training and behaviour concerns.
The Complex Behaviour Consultation allows for additional preparation and risk assessment where concerns are serious, long-standing or interconnected—for example biting, aggression, severe reactivity or significant anxiety.
Jayne will recommend the correct option after reviewing your questionnaire.
DO YOU RUN GROUP PUPPY CLASSES?
No. Champagne Paws offers Private Puppy School in your home and local environment.
This allows the program to focus on your puppy, your household and the life you are building together.
IS MY PUPPY TOO YOUNG?
Learning begins from the moment your puppy comes home. Private Puppy School is designed for puppies from 8 weeks old to under six months and can begin as soon as it is appropriate and safe to do so.
ARE ADVENTURE SAFARIS JUST DOG WALKS?
No. Each Adventure Safari is a personalised enrichment experience shaped around the dog.
It may include exploration, scentwork, confidence-building, recall practice, swimming, play, training or supported exposure to new environments.
CAN ANY DOG BOOK AN ADVENTURE SAFARI?
Not automatically.
Jayne considers each dog’s confidence, behaviour, physical needs, recall, travel comfort and compatibility. New dogs may require an introduction with Inca before their first Safari.
CAN I BOOK ADVENTURE CARE?
Adventure Care is not available for open purchase.
It is reserved for carefully selected dogs Jayne has already trained or assessed through Adventure Safaris. Dogs must be compatible with Inca, Louis and spending time calmly in Jayne’s home.
DO YOU TAKE LARGE GROUPS OF DOGS?
No. Champagne Paws specialises in personal, one-to-one care and very small, carefully considered combinations of compatible dogs.
WHERE DO YOU WORK?
Champagne Paws is based near Surry Hills, Redfern and Waterloo and primarily serves Sydney’s inner city and Eastern Suburbs.
Travel charges may apply outside the usual service area.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PURCHASE?
Jayne will contact you to arrange the appointment and provide any preparation instructions or additional client-care forms.
Purchasing a service does not create an instant or automatically confirmed appointment time.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IN AN EMERGENCY?
Champagne Paws does not provide an emergency behaviour or veterinary service.
If there is an immediate risk to a person or animal, safely separate those involved and contact your veterinarian, an emergency veterinary hospital or the appropriate emergency service.
